I look at the Alviso Marina Park map one more time before leaving this wonderful place. Hopefully I will return here someday… On my bike!

Sea Gull on the Path

My journey ends when I come across these sea gulls on my path. They are frightful and furious I must turn back now.

Bay Birds

There are hundreds of birds on the bay and many different species too.

The path ahead goes on for miles.

A small bay bird searched for food in the murky green bay waters.

One side of the levee is a vast sea of green and on the other side the bays flows through a twisting passage.

Post Reflection

As I look back on the days events and think to myself I found this stick and its reflection.

Railroad Lights with Solar Power

I’ve seen those telephones along the road that have solar power, now I found a railroad light powered by solar. Solar power is the future. Tomorrow solar power will powers the light that help me see for the day.

Joggers Jog the Levee

As I walk along the levee I ran across a jogger. Ahh walked across a jogger. Umm, I passed a jogger. Yeah, sure, that’s it.

Gull Bones

I have found a dead gull. These are the remains of a Sea Gull. The monster that did this must pay!

Hikers Walk On

These folks don’t seem to realize they are in danger. They just walk along as if nothing is wrong.

I found some bones. These are very dangerous parts and I must proceed with caution.

The Copper Sea

A log was stuck in the copper sea that runs through the Alviso canyons.

Copper Shore

Satellite photos would not pick up the copper shore line I found.

This copper stream looks like something from Mars but it really is just down the way from Stick City.

Below the bay area mountains just down the levee from the train tracks and next to the bay I found a Stick City.

After all the old tires, warning signs, dead gull bones and passing trains I found this city of sticks. I declare this the Stick City!

Stick Sticking Out

From all the strange things out on the marina I found these two sticks sticking out.

Looks like Mars

Some parts of the Alviso Marina look like a landscape from Mars.

Red Bricks

Here I found these red bricks. There were a lot of these bricks.

The Closed Levee

The closed levee goes on for miles.

Washed Up Sign

Next to the tire in the bay was an old sign. It looks a lot like the new sign.

There wasn’t much trash out on the levee but I did find an old tire.

Post in the Water

I found many things in the water. Here you can see a post sticking out. It may be for measuring the water level.

Closed Levee to Protect Wildlife

Long ago this part of the levee was open. It looks like now it’s is closed to protect wildlife. The only wildlife I found out there was seagulls. I guess they are wildlife.

Passenger Train

I saw a passenger train today and a transport train.

Looking Down the Track

I climbed over to the tracks and looking down one way you can see for miles.

Bay Area Mountains

In the background you can see the bay area mountains. This picture is black and white but the mountains are usually a golden brown.

Train Tracks

The train passes right by parts of the levee. It’s not easy but at some parts I could cross over and go onto the tracks.

The Green Bay

The bay water is very green. It looks like a pea green or a deep moss green. There is no blue here. While walking I can hear the gentle wave of the bay against the levee.

The Levee

The path follows along the levee. When you look into the bay you can see for miles.

The Boat Dock

After a quick hike I found this boat dock. I’m not sure if anyone has used this in a while.
